I was wondering which kind of tree frog breeds can live together in 1 tank. I have 2 grey and 1 whites tree frogs and hoping to get white lipped, green, cuban, barking and/or glade tree frog. Which tree frogs can I keep together safely, if I can at all?
It's never ideal to mix species of frogs, ever. However, the only species I would even consider it to be "okay" would be the American Green Tree Frog (Hyla cinerea) and Grey Tree Frogs (Hyla versicolor). You also want to make note that whatever sized tank you have will accommodate the number of frogs you plan on keeping together (ie: 10 gallons per 1 frog).
I would also like to add, you should separate your white's and your grey immediatley..
How's the bump on your white's? Have you been able to get it to a vet?
1.1.0 White's Treefrog
1.0.0 Red Eyed Leaf Frog
The whites and greys have been seperated always and my whites bump has actually dissapeared so I havent put much more thought into it. I actually began to wonder if it was maybe just stress from the new home. I'm glad to see that it is gone though and im hoping it will never come back.
