I was about to say the samething... but I have to add one thing. American greens do get bigger and will try and eat smaller greys... IF you were to mix these 2 breeds... though still not wise... make sure they are around the same size...

It's never ideal to mix species of frogs, ever. However, the only species I would even consider it to be "okay" would be the American Green Tree Frog (Hyla cinerea) and Grey Tree Frogs (Hyla versicolor). You also want to make note that whatever sized tank you have will accommodate the number of frogs you plan on keeping together (ie: 10 gallons per 1 frog).
