they are in a 5 gallon tank and tape to avoid escaping and feeding them wet lettuce i saw one adult crickets dead with white spots but the baby ones are still active would they be fine it's habitat smells stinky and with fruit flies but now no more flies i cant clean them they are too small what do i do??
A bin containing pin-head and very small crickets is difficult to clean.
I keep spare bins for this. When I make a bin change I let the crickets crawl into an empty paper towel tube or onto an cardboard egg carton; then shake them into the clean container. This transfer takes a while , but will reduce squishing crickets accidentally. Yuck ! A dirty crickets container, does, smells terrible.
