    As Lynn said, it's nothing to worry about. His just shedding
    I know what you mean about him looking skinny, my frogs do this too, kind of like they are sucking in their tummy, haha. It's just like what Lynn said, to help them get their old skin into their mouth.

    I agree I was really concerned the first time I saw Frodo all bloated up and glossy. tTen after a while he started opening his mouth and closing it like he couldn't breath. Then he began to use his legs to push the skin towards his mouth... he ate his shedding. It was gross but once I found out on here what was going on it was kinda neat. I think they make themselves swell up to stretch the skin to be shed for easier removal. But after he was done all this he looked back to normal XD I see him do this quiet often =).

    thank you lynn and kristen ah i feel a bit silly now asking this question, hehe. and yeah he was only bloating up like arching his back up for a little while then just went so skinny but now his completely fine jumping like crazy and eating like his never ate in his life lol so yeah im sure its just shedding thanks to you both now i can relax thank you once again

    I agree with the others. My grey tree frogs inflate themselves, move in weird positions, and "slurps" the skin into the corners of their mouths when they shed exactly as you have described. It freaked me out the first time I saw it, too!
