Nuptial Pads at 4 Months?

Kind of curious here.. I'm raising up my first 3 ACF from small froglets, they were quite small when I got them so they were one month old tops I think.

Anyways my Albino ACF (and my largest whom I think is 4 months old approx) appears to be getting 'dirty hands' which is telling me that he's a male.

However isn't that a bit soon? I thought they took a longer time to mature, I would say he is still shy of 2 inches right now.

Yes, mine also got dark hands at around 4 months old.
