I had a wood frog, Lithobates sylvaticus be diagnosed with "red-leg" by my vet. There was no redness, so I was surprised by the diagnosis. With some antibiotics, it recovered with no further problems.
To avoid "red-leg" keep your frogs in appropriate size enclosure, as well as keeping it clean and sanitary.
