Red Leg?

Does any one have a picture of what "red leg" actually looks like? On the net there is a lot of written description, but I can't find a picture...my White's has a slight pink tone to his under belly/legs. I don't normally flip him upside down, but did so the other day and noticed it...he seems to be acting (& eating) normally - so not sure if his bottom side appearance is normal, or if I could be dealing with something ugly (how fast does it manifast, symptoms, ect)...any info would be appreciated. That's normal in my experience. Red leg looks like haemorrhaging (blood vessels breaking under the skin). It's hard to confuse it with anything else. However by the time you can see that it's usually too late for the frog.

I forgot to say, red leg doesn't have to produce "red" legs - it can often kill the animal before getting that far.

Thanks for the info, he does not have anything that looks like hemorrhaging or broken blood vessels...just a pinkish tone...what a relief! Thanks again, and Happy New Year!

I just took some photos of my frogs there and noticed my whites has some pinkish undertones too, as im the same as lisa and i have never really flipped me frog over and they are usually hidden during the day.

But does anyone think mine looks strange?

Not really, it looks perfectly normal.
