Hello and Could Use Some Help
Hello, I'm not new to keeping frogs/toads, but I am new to this board. I am looking for help identifying the frogs/toads I currently have in my possesion. My family was on vacation in OC, MD and my kids captured several what I assumed were frogs at the time as we were staying very close to a pond. There was only about 20 feet of back yard and then a shared pond. My kids insisted on keeping them and I made a deal that if we kept them we weren't going to get any hermit crabs. It worked out well for me because I already have a vivarium going, it just needs/needed some maintenance. All four made it home, but sadly I believe one was injured on the trip back and only survived a few days, it was pretty evident when I got home that he wasn't going to make it but I still hoped for the best. Right now I am looking for help on identifying these animals, the three that are left seem to be thriving in the vivarium, they are always jumping around and finding new places to hide and very actively pursue the dusted fruit flies I've been dropping in twice a day. I am including several pictures and a video that I took during one of the feeding sessions in the hopes that you can help me not only identify them but also determine the best way to care for them. This vivarium was originally setup for dendro, so it may be to humid for them? Thank you in advance.
