By the way what kinds of gecko do you keep?
Hi Everybody
I'm a dart frog and gecko keeper from Southern Cali, and I also have a pair of Kaiser newts. I build custom vivariums through the local reptile shop and provide them with feeders, and also have a booth at most California reptile shows. Mostly right now I have thumbnail dart frogs, including two locales of pumilio, and a couple of tinctorius. I propagate terrarium plants as well, and have a 240 sq foot shade house in the yard to house over 130 kinds of bromeliads, plus two greenhouses and lots of indoor plant racks. If you have any questions on plants or vivarium building, feel free to hit me up, I might be able to help![]()

I wish I lived in So Cal. will you be at any norcal shows?
I can get some for you if you're looking Irish, I have a wholesale account with a grower. Are you looking for some of the larger broms and Tillandsias too? I have Uroplatus lineatus, phantasticus, henkeli, and sikorae, Pachydactylus rangei, scherzi, and tigrinus, Tarentola chazaliae, Teratolepis fasciata, and Phelsuma sundbergi sundbergi.
I was debating doing the Sacremento show this year, but I think I may be a bit strapped on time with all the shows and projects I'm trying to finish up down here, maybe next year. If you're looking for something specific I can always send it up with some of my friends that drive down here for shows, or ship.
oh no thats not necessary. I was just wondering. I am not even sure if I have room for more bromeliads and tillandsias do you have a website or facebook page?
Website is still under construction, but you can look up Verdant Vivariums on facebook.
I love all the leaf tailed but where did you get and if you dont mind how much was your phantasticus, I've wanted one for SOOOOOO long, there my favorite of the family. In the past I've had Tarentola chazaliae, Ptychozoon kuhli, several forms of Rhacodactylus ciliatus, Pachydactylus bibronii, Hemitheconyx caudicinctus, Coleonyx variegatus and the one I missed the most Rhacodactylus leachianus. They are some of the most amazing animals, so much personality. One day I will get a pair but I dont have 1200 lying around so... I went with the best I could and got a marbled Rhacodactylus auriculatus for now. Ok back to the plants.... I am looking for larger brooms and larger tillandsias as well as the staghorns but what kind of price range are we talking about?
I got an established pair from a breeder who needed to rehome his collection, and two pairs of the German imports. They're being exported again, but there were only 70 on the 2012 Cites list so I doubt many will come to the US. I have some eggs, but I've already got a bit of a wait list, assuming I can keep the babies alive (did rather well with all my sikorae babies though). I'll pm you on the plants.
