waterfall.

I plan on adding a waterfall in my viv and making a pool-like section. is it okay to put some sort of fish in there?
i'll be house RETF, btw.

I have seen a vivarium design with waterfall, frogs, fish, and crabs inside. I think it would be ok, but I would get some small freshwater fish.

I have had a RETF viv and I thought crabs would be cool but they tried to hunt, one would dance in front of the frogs to get there attention while the other 2 tried to flank from both sides, my frogs so stay away from crabs! Needless to say after I saw this they were gone and I was lucky enough that they didn't get any of my frogs. On the other hand I have a viv now with zebra dominoes in the pond as well as ghost shrimp, which are really good little cleaners.

I know about creating a false bottom, but how would take work if I plan to make a "pool" of some sort?

Well for my bumble bee walking toads I used a piece of cork to separate my "pond" from the rest of the land and I have a stream that runs into it, hard to explain cant think of the right wording. I know in the pic its kinda hard to see but check it out
