Size: 64.0 KBOrdered these and received about 3-4 days ago, culture 1 has 1 inch to 1 1/2 of mold all around the cup, culture 2 has little white bugs that i believe are grain mites... i wrote the Co. I got them from and was accused of being a crook simply because when I ordered them I put in my notes that the place that i had been purchasing from before was sending out cultures with mites in them as well... when i received these i placed them on Anti Mite paper i got from the Carolina Biological Co and there they sat on the shelf... and here you go... and Im the crook, trying to rip off a company of $5 to send me a new culture, in which they have "NEVER" had mites.... no mention of the mold at all... so after a few emails I am told to leave them alone I am a "Whacko" in their words and to stop being a crook and trying to get something for free... so now I have NO flies to feed and am just in a terrible mood now wondering how it comes to be that I am the "bad guy" just wanted to rant a bit guys, should i try and salvage the moldy one?

That's horrible. Sorry you had to deal with that.

I've been culturing 2 practice cups in anticipation for my newcomers, and joshsfrogs.com has a wonderful reputation. Great customer service and they are definitely known for their FF cultures and formula that goes in it. I think you should give it a shot.
