We're going to be gone for 5 days... I think. I understand that caring for a frog isn't rocket science and anyone can do it but I just don't know who to ask. I have prepared instructions and I am going to give them my house key so my frog can stay in my house where he's comfortable and won't get stressed. I really like your idea of laying out each meal in a little container, I'll do that.

Finally figured it out! Turns out our local pet store (family owned, not a chain) boards! And it's only 5 bucks a day!!

If you have stable humidity in the tank and hand misting is not required it shouldnt be a problem to leave the frogs on their own for those 5 days. They can manage more than that without food and i cant think of something else that is extremely necesary to be done frequently. I left mine for 6 days in the middle of july and they are perfectly fine (not retf, tho).

Oh no no no no! I disagree! I would never leave my frogs un watched for 1 day, let alone 5 or 6! I don't have anything against your discussions, but I would definatly not leave them. If something ever happened you wouldn't know until a few days after and I'm sure you wouldn't want to come home from your VACA and see your precious frog dead or injured. Since the price is so low on the boarding and it's family owned, if you trust the store and if you see that the other pets there are well taken care of then I think that would be the best way to go. If you don't want to do that, is there any neighbors near by that are older than 15-16 and are responsible? There has got to be someone you trust that can help? Good luck!
