my bufo bufo toadlet has been out of the water for 5 days and Still won't eat Iv'e tried aphids and ants, but to no success so far I can't really afford pin head crickets. What should I do?

flightless fruitflies? they can be ordered online and pet shops (at least in US) sell cultures. although, i can't imagine they're any cheaper than a few pinhead crickets... leave a banana out and wait for fruit flies to show up? not sure if toadlets could catch ones that fly around, i don't know... i'm sure someone on here would have an idea about how to set your own trap to try.

don't worry too much though. if he seems otherwise ok, he'll eat when he's ready.

are crickets that pricey in England?
