Hello, I'm also a Michigander! Also, I catch toads all the time and just recently I had some in a ten gallon in my basement. I let them go though because I just got a painted turtle from my uncles pond. I now have him in a 20 gallon tank that we just bought.Also I hope you enjoy your stay here on the frogforums. I know I like It.The people here have helped me more then enough and I now think that I'm becoming a pain because I ask to many questions about wild caught frogs/toads and even turtles now.
