i recently bought new food for my frog (hbh bites, special order from the us) and i'm not sure how to get him to eat.
i also have a betta fish in the same aquarium, so it's quite difficult - the frog is a slow eater, and i'm worried the betta might take his food
what should i do?![]()
i did feed it first, even though my betta is always hungry :P
i just don't have the time to stare for 30 minutes just to see if the frog eats. hope it will be ok. thanks!
If you don't have any forceps or long plastic tweezers one thing you can try is getting some wooden skewers and reptomin.
If you wet the reptomin a little it will stick to the flat end of the skewer (dont use the pointy side) and then you can just put the food right in front of your frogs mouth. I feed my ACF like this since some of my frogs are more skilled at finding food than others and wind up hogging it.
