Hi New to frogs

Hi, I'm from Nv. about a hour outside of Las vegas. My husband and I talked about getting a frog,than about
2 to 3 days later my dogs was messing with something so when I took it away, it turned out to be a frog.
I thought it was dead but turned out to still be a live.I brough it in the house to make sure he's okay.
It's been a couple days now and he seems to be doing fine.
Can any one tell me what kind it is?

Hi, welcome to the forums! You've definitely got a Toad there, what kind? I'm not positive. I'd guess it's Western Woodhouse Toad, but this is by looking at a list of local toads around Las Vegas. This ones dots look a little darker than woodhouse toad, but it could be the lighting. Hope that helps, I'm sure if I'm wrong about the toad someone else will know.
