Default My pixie frog broke off one of his tooth projections!

a few weeks back, he bit hard on the feeding tongs. Today when he was eating, I noticed that the center tooth projection thing was half the size of the other two, it used to be the same size. So either its part of a broken tooth, or he has re-grown it. Does anyone know anything about this problem? or has had it happen before? he is eating fine still, just kinda worried about him because he is my baby Any info would be awsome.

If he is still eating ok, acting normal, and it doesn't look like there's an open wound, I wouldn't worry. That is quite strange though, never heard of something like this...

When you got your frog did he start eating right away? I have had mine for a week and a half and she hasn't eaten anything. She tried once but she bit a hold of the tongs like yours did and now she won't even look at the mouse... What are you feeding yours?

What are your enclosure conditions? Pixies never take long to start eating at a young age it's critical they to almost every day. What are you offering as a staple food?

She is about 2 years old. And it's the same almost as the tank we bought her in. We are getting ready to up grade her to a 40 gallon tank so hopefully she eats then

Sorry I stole your thread! If your frog is still eating and acting fine and no swelling he should be okay. I hope all goes well with him
