Lighting is not necessary for Green Tree Frogs. However, it would probably more aesthetically pleasing. Also, if you plan on having live plants the lighting will benefit them too.

Like kitten said, there isn't really any research saying that they benefit from uv light but if you have live plants, you will need a uv light. It also brights up the viv but your choice![]()
If you want them to have a lot of room you still could fit 5-7 frogs, I mean thats a nice huge tank! Good luck though!![]()
Wait... you keep White's in there! Oh my gosh! I would LOVE to have White's, but from what I've heard they can't swim! Can I have White's? That would be so awesome!
You can have whites in there as long as the water isn't too deep. 6" will be too deep for them. Mine is about as deep as they are with a few higher spots for them to sit on without being 100% in the water.
You could have White's Tree Frogs in there as long as you got a lot of branches, perhaps, to stick in the water so they have places to climb out if they were to fall in the water. They are pretty feisty when they eat. Kiwi, my White's, never fails to launch himself at his food and tumble to the bottom of his enclosure of nearby branch.
Will do! Can I have three in there, or is it too small?
