I think it is simply a small earthworm that hitched a ride with a plant.

It looks like a red wiggler to me, like lynn said, it may have hitched a ride with a plant. I feed those to my white's

I am sorry to hear about your frog acting strange. From my own personal experience I would suggest getting her stool checked by Dr Frye. I have heard so many good things about him on these forums.
This year I lost a chameleon. It was my first time owning one and the pet store gave me one with parasites. When I went back and told them about her eating problems two months later they never advised me to an exotic doctor or to have her checked out. I trusted their advice that it was just a behavioral thing. after a few months she started eating less and less but never lost weight (she was bloated). I brought her in and had them look at her and they said she was fine. I should have had her stool checked out because a few months later she fell and died from broke ribs because she was so weak from the parasites that she couldnt hold on to her branches. I only had her for 8 months.
It was a hard lesson to learn because I had to watch her slowly and painfully die. I still think about her every day and regret not knowing about the signs of parasites.
I hope that you at least get the stool checked out.

    Hi Savannah,
My red eyes lean back when they shed as well.
I think it's highly unlikely a 1" worm would come from your frog.
I'm not saying this is impossibly- but highly unlikely.

If your frog is eating and not loosing weight , then that would point to the fact that the 'worm' is a worm from a plant?
They sneak their way in w/ a plant.
Like Heather said, keep an eye on the poops.
Diarrhea and slimy (mucous) looking poop needs the vet's attention.

The day-to-day observation of things is so important. Once a red eyed tree frog looks sick and is acting odd ......it's really sick.
(ie wt loss, inactive, difficulty righting itself, not eating , change in behavior, slipping down the glass -unable to hold on) These things just do not happen overnight!
