    Default Lighting for Frogger

    So I posted a thread earlier about my lamp making the tank too hot, and I think I came up with a solution. I took one of those screw hook things and screwed it into the shelf above the tank. Here's a picture of my setup:

    What kind of bulb are you using? T8 and LEDs put out much less heat than most bulbs. Also, if you have live plants, what is the kelvin rating of the light output?

    It was a light that came in the lamp. I bought it a couple years ago specifically in the reptile section at the pet store. I'm not sure what type of bulb it is or what the wattage is. And I don't have any live plants in the tank.
