I am new to amphibians and I just got a new albino horned(Pacman) frog. I have been researching green Pacman frogs for about three weeks, but I chose to buy a cute albino instead. I was wondering if there is any additional information that anyone can provide for me that is different between albinos and green Pacman frogs in caring for them and such. I would be so pleasedif you could do this for me .... thank you!

Albinos are extra sensitive to bright light and UVB Radiation. You must avoid any daylight and basking spotlight lamps. You can only use night time bulbs like Infrared bulbs, Moonlight blue bulbs, and lightness bulbs like CHE(Ceramic Heat Emitters). Never exceed 50 watts with heat bulbs except CHE, you can use a 60 watt safely. With any Pacman Frog when you use a lamp make sure it has a dimmer switch so you can accurately adjust the amount of light and heat produced by the bulb.
Thank you somuch for your reply! I use a ceramic heat emitter... and I waswondering if I were to get a heat mat/pad I would stick it to the side am Icorrect? (Because frogs burrow to cool off and not to become warmer (right?)
They are nocturnal so you'll feed them at night. You will need to provide a 12 hour day/night cycle so 12 hours of day and 12 of night. So 7:00 Am to 7:00 pm or 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Thank you so much foryour help, I appreciate it and so will my frog!

So my friend, who has a bearded dragon, told me she uses a "food mix" (from thiswebsite) http://www.samurep.jp/food.htmland they also have a "food mix" for pacman frogs. I was wondering if this food would be nutritious enough to feed to a pacman (but i would neverfeed my baby anything that would not be good for her), so please give me your opinion on this!![]()
Ok thanks for your help... sorry if I ask too many questions.
