White's tree frog, diet.

Hey all, I'm really into buying a white's tree frog, and I decided I wanted to go any buy one today. So I've been doing a lot of research on them the past couple days and noticed crickets are really a big part of their diet. Is there anyway that they can survive with a healthy diet without eat crickets? If so, what would replace them? MY dad does not allow crickets in the house due to their annoying cricking or w/e and he thinks that I don't know how to put them all in the cage. He thinks I'm going to let some loose in the house or w/e even though they are already all over... Anyways if you can help me out here with something else I can replace crickets with for my tree frogs to still be very healthy and such, it would be greatly appreciated.

Blaptica Dubia cockroaches;
1. cannot climb smooth surfaces
2. no noise
3. cant fly
4. breed like crazy in warm temps
5. (depending on your area) escapees die within 72 hours
6. do not bite
7. do not smell

Thanks for the reply! So the frogs will be fine on a staple diet with Blaptica Dubia cockroaches, and occasionally all the other bugs that people recommend, like waxworms and such? (I got them from the White treefrog guide)Frog Forum - White's Tree Frog Care - Litoria caerulea
