hey my name is sarah i wrote a smilar post about my frog before but i have a bit more detail about him that im more worried about, i have an Australian white lipped tree frog, i might be worrying for no reason but i shall ask anyway. i have noticed that his been sleeping alot latley just siting in the same spots but he does get active at late night, and he still loves his food. but ive noticed his eyes are smaller than usual but not cloudy they are very clear and i think his ear has changed color it looks white and cloudy not sure if thats normal or not? people think his just sleeping/hibernating but i do want to be exactly right, its winter down here in Australia. its been about a week since his been like this hasn't got better or worse so im confused if there is something wrong or his he just sleeping because its winter here? thanks so much. sarahthats his eye now
i dont think you can see it buts it was ment to be a pic of his ear (sorry couldnt get any closer his very scared) thanks
I really can't see anything wrong with the ear or eye but I will say that your frog will slow in activity levels during the winter months. Just make sure your providing the right temps, humidity, light change cycle, and the tank is set up for a tree frog (high accents such as broad leaves, branches, vines and such).
When I see these frogs sleeping on a background or glass I tend to think there is nothing for them to go to since the should be found sleeping in the leaf of a bromeliad or snake plant. Mine even slept on the branches and competed for spots at the highest spots in the tank.
Do you supplement the feedings with calcium or vitamins?

I think your frog is doing just fineI have an Austrialian Whites tree frog and I have noticed his ears have changed colors from white to more of a gray but he is doing just fine
My Whites used to sleep on a rock, then to a high leaf, and now he sleep son the glass but more at the bottom, so I really think that it is what the frog preffers. Just as long as you have other options for him I think he just like the glass:P
