I have a 4.5" female Brown Chacoan and she can jump about 10" high and probably 3 times her body length. If Caatingas are the athletes I'd love to see how far and high their chubby butts can jump.
Its cool that they still have farely powerful legs for jumping and not just burrowing. I've got a Male C. Cranwelli that can jump higher and farther Lol! This is what I've discovered while getting them out for a warm soak![]()
Thanks guys. This is the first year doing the caatingas. I am keeping a large group of them to add to the breeding stock. Pretty sure I like them more than cranwelli. They are neat frogs and always active
