Welcome, Dennis. Use mices as rare treats only - your frog will live longer. 75 is alright as a night time temperature (or even a day time temperature if you're pushed), but during the day they should have temperatures into the 80s Fahrenheit.
Hello, I am Dennis (AKA countfrogula). I just got an adorable little pacman frog the other dayHis name is Meanie. I don't find him mean but mice do. Anyways I been setting up his terranium to get it right for him. I have a bulb on him during the day and he seems to be doing fine so far. I was worried the first two days because he wouldn't eat a frozen pinky from me. So I went and got a live one today and he chomped it down so I guess he's ok. I wanna get his tank maybe a little warmer still, it's at 75 degrees. I am trying to get the right temp, i may have to get a heating pad or something to bump it up.
Just wanted to say hi.

Welcome aboard.
Thanks, I got a higher wattage bulb and got some mealyworms for him. He seems very happy and healthy. I am very happy with my frog.
I think where I got him didn't really know the size they get. He told me as big as a dinner plate but that is huge, can I really expect him that big? I am reading on the forums he gets 5 - 6 inches which surely is not as big as a dinner plate. They also told me there to feed him pinkies every few days, I think I should get them a book on pacmans for christmas![]()
