Get a different species of roaches like dubia's. They can't climb glass. That is what I feed in my bowls. Search in the feeder forum for the raising roaches thread, very helpful info!!! If you can't find it let me know.

David had some difficulty finding any other species of feeder roach near him in Australia, unfortunately = /
Try smearing some olive oil along the lip of your bowl - they may still be able to climb over it as it isn't quite as effective as petroleum jelly, but it is a safe method for feeding your frog and will inhibit their ability to climb out. You can also throw them in the freezer or fridge for a wee bit prior to feeding to slow them down, but they come to relatively fast.

Like Jeff said, i can't get dubias in Australia.
That olive oil sounds like a descent idea. But ill try to come up with some "invention" so they can't climb out.
Take their legs off - i would prefer not to but ill keep that in mind
Jeff, are you sure that olive oil is safe if frogs come in contact of it?
Well I can honestly say that I learned something new today! Well, I tried...![]()
