I have been raising gray tree frog tadpoles for a while now, and a couple days ago two morphed into frogs. They still had small tail stubs, and I moved them into a terrarium with only a little water bowl and lots of climbing areas. I went to check on them the next day, and both frogs were dead on the floor. I am very concerned because two more of my taddies are turning into little frogs. Please help! What do I do? What did I do wrong?!!
I'm bumping this for you since this looks urgent, I'm new to tree-frogs but all I can say is make sure the temperatures are okay, and get them a lot of water to be in, atleast 2 cups of water. Temperatores during day should be around 70-75 and night should be 75-80. They are babies so I'm guessing they need a bit hotter climate. Also make sure you are feeding them more often then adults. Maybe once a day to get started then within a week move to every other day then in like a month move to every 3 days. Also, they need to be eating. Get extra small bugs for them maybe like baby crickets, which most pet stores should have or, any small fly they can probably catch. I hope this helps, I'm new to them but this is just how I would think to take care of them.
