I was just dozing around and observing my White's tree frog 18" x 18" x 24" vivarium when I noticed that a very tiny, white, little booger thing ran across the face of my frog's mouth and down its body. I was immediately scared cause I knew that this could have been a mite. I then again looked very closely, checking out every cm of his body, checking for others. I found none. I did the same with my viviarium, and found nothing. I mean, if theres one, there's many, right? In this case I only saw one. I recently got a pot of pathos plant from Home Depot that I didn't quarantine, and this might be the reason for the one supposed "mite". Is this possible_ to have one mite running around? Where should I check for others? How would I get rid of them if they did in fact turn up with others? I would hate to tear my vivarium down. It was going so great.
