Not an expert on these frogs particularly, but tree frogs in general tend to like more height then anything else.
That doesn't sound too bad for a single Dumpy Tree Frog, but perhaps you can upgrade to a taller tank, rather than one with so much ground room. When you can ofcourse. He shouldn't be too upset in the tank you have.
People usually buy tanks Tall specifically for tree frogs or turn Long tanks onto their sides and substitute it as a Tall tank, and put a screen on the opening. It's actually recommended for this species to be in a 20Gallon tank, but I'm assuming Tall, since it is a Tree Frog.
