Default My new Green Tree Frogs!

    Hello everyone!

Yesterday i finally got my Australian Green Tree Frogs!!!

I have 3 and i haven't thought of names yet. I will gladly take suggestions!

They are four months old and exploring their new enclosure that is a nice half land half water with live plants and wood for climbing.

One of them is fairly larger than the other 2 so im hoping its a girl!
Last night i fed them 2 crickets each by hand and they are soooo adorable!!! They way the eat it and roll their eyes...CUTE!

Anyway, if I've done this correctly there should be some pics of them below. Im not the best photographer and have a little digital camera bit i did my best

    Thanks for looking and enjoy!!!

They look very beautiful! That blue-ish colouration is amazing!

Not to mention your set-up looks and sounds very nice. Hopefully not too deep water[or are they good swimmers... not sure] .

I wish I could have a set-up like that, but I don't have enough room, plus my frogs are like a inch and a half... I'd probably lose them in all that lol.

All your hard work paid off it seems . Glad you're happy with them.

I like the name Azure for the frog in pic # 7 [counting left to right]. Wait for their personalities to come out though, then name them how you like .

Thanks Mr zoggs! Hopefully if i have a mix of genders then in the future they may breed.

And thankyou as well Yusil! The set up didn't take too much effort. Just a lot of planning but once i have all the stuff ready to go it, i did it in one day!
I only had a problem with the pump of the waterfall but that is now fixed.

I love the blue tinge as well! The tank doesn't take that much room actually. My dad built a cupboard that it sits on that he found on the side of the road. He then
fixed it up by varnishing, new doors and the works to what it is now! Azure sounds ver nice but as you said, wait for their personalities to come through.

In the pictures, the frogs may look bit but they actually are babies, fairly small. Once you think you lost one, you see it hiding under the leaf or something. No biggie.

    I sure will.

Im having a little problem with one of the frogs. He/she has been sitting in the same spot since yesterday. Thats a little less than one day.
I know they need to get used to the enclosure but im getting worried...

Anyone know what could be going on? I keep the temp 26 degrees celsius and the humidity is around 50-60% Does the humidity need to be more?

Its on the floor but a little above ground. I think it just could be stress so i won't start getting worried yet.

Thanks for your concern Myzoggs, im sure he/she will be fine. I can still feed he/she but its just that it doesn't really move.

Just have to wait and see...

Awww, the cutest thing is happening right now. One of them just had a feast eating all 3 crickets in the feeding bowl and is now sitting on top of one of the other frogs!!!
I will see if i can take a pic of them together!
