Green Ceratophrys Cranwelli. Setup doesn't look bad. Keep him/her warm and humidity up. Nice Pac.

Depends on many factors. Substrate conditions, climate conditions, diet and how frequent their Fed. Babies and juveniles should be Fed daily or every other day. Provide a varied diet for best nutrition and growth. Should begin to grow very fast. Some grow so fast that they look larger every day.

Is your heat mat actually under the tank or do you have it attached to the side? I was under the impression that putting it under the tank was a bad idea because the pac will burrow to cool off and then won't be able to if it's burrowing down closer to a heater.

The heat mat should be mounted on the side of the tank and not under it. It looks great, best of luck with the frog!!!

The heat mat is underneath. Im not sure I'll get the viv up to temperature with it on the side.

The pacman has been burrowing at the cold end. I suppose that makes sense if they burrow to get cool.

Will he be ok as I'm only covering half the bottom with a heat mat? Or should I move it.

If you move it you MUST be careful not to bend it. They can be damaged very easily and contain very small wiring.

If you have trouble keeping the temp up with the mat moved, you could consider using a lamp for heat instead. Grif and others have made some good lamp/bulb suggestions in other threads. How are you keeping track of temp/humidity? I don't think I saw any gauges in your pictures. Btw, very cute frog you have there
