Newbie: set-up for adult Western Toad?

Toads usually prefer dryer conditions. If you want a damp substrate that is safe for him to ingest go with Eco Earth Coconut Fiber(not husk). If he ingest some of the Eco Earth he can easily pass it.

Okay that sounds good. I wasn't sure exactly how dry or damp Western Toads like their environment to be but I'll pick up some Eco Earth Coconut Fiber and maybe I should leave the substrate dry but mist every day and provide a water bowl? Or should I continue to dampen the substrate a bit?
