    Default Frog rack setup

Here are some pics of the frog rack setup.

You can house everything from tadpoles to adults in it. All temp and humidity controlled.

    Sorry for the sideways pic

Ya the pull out tubs work. But with as many frogs as i have its cheaper to do it this way and I can heat them without worrying about melting them.

Are you using heat tape to heat the rack?

I thought you might have. Just checking. I got the smaller types for my geckos. I got a three drawer one when I only had two, but then I got two more geckos and haven't gotten another one yet. If I buy a new one then I might have to get more geckos to fill my empty one with. lol.

Ya i use heat tape. But i only heat the back and not under the tubs. The frogs like to sit on it til they cook themselves.

Did you make the rack yourself? I have snake racks from Reptile Basics for my Ball Pythons, but I have never attempted to make one.

    Nice!
Husband puts ours together and we heat the same way......tape on the back board of the rack so the frogs can decide where they want to sit comfortably without cooking themselves.

No, i just bought that one. The melamine is a pain to cut without chipping it.

If you go to Home depot they have the melamine there and if they chip it they will re cut it for free. And its only like 25 bucks for a 8 foot long sheet and they cut it to your specs free.

The adults dont move very much.

I know home depot will but its the 3/4 in melamine you want. I am going to have my baby racks built out of some lighter material. Trying to get it to hold 3-400 babies

    I gotta question.

I use a rack for my snakes, but my room has to be pretty warm in order for it to hold temps properly. What is the ambient temp of the room they're in?

Room temp is probably 70 degrees. My rack holds heat well.
