More activity and resisting you is also a good sign. The flipping over is stress. You need to find a way to relieve his stress. He may need another Vet trip, but I'm not sure why he is still retaining fluid. It is normal for them to loom really bloated when they absorb water and are well hydrated, but when they urinate usually the water is gone and they must reabsorb more fresh water.

I actually spoke to the frog doctor just a few minutes ago. We are going to monitor the bloating. It has been nearly two weeks since he had a bowel movement so we are hoping he really needs to go. If the bloating doesn't decrease by Wednesday then we go back to the vet. I'm hoping that now that he is off the medication he will calm down a bit. It was the only time I have had to give him anything but food orally and he really didn't like it. I think it tasted bad. I offered him food in his tank for the first time yesterday and he refused it. He actually moved away from it. She said there is a possibility that after we heal him we will have to break him of being hand fed. Now that he is used to that he may prefer it.

Mine started eating on her own when she became well, but she didn't have what your Pac has. Hopefully yours will do as my big female did and eat on its own for you.

Today is the first day ever since he got sick that he was actually awake when I got home! He wasn't flipped over either. He was in his favorite hiding spot looking out the tank! We go back to the vet tomorrow to have some more fluid drained; the swelling did go down a little after his saline soak last night. Still aren't sure what is wrong.

That is a positive sign though.
