I went to check on my frogs this morning, and the little one, Ebb, had one of her eyes closed. The other eye was a much darker brown color than yesterday. Can their eyes change colors? She opened the other eye once, about halfway, and then closed it. I am not able to take her to the vet, so I immediately took some pictures and came to the forum, hoping someone could help me. I am very panicked right now. Here are some picsAny help or advice would be really appreciated! Thank you so so much!
I would guess she has something irritating the eye such as a piece of substrate. Just make sure your humidity is about 7- percent and give har a soak in room temp dechlorinated tap water and she should be able to work it out on her own. you can try to call Dr Frye and ask is there is some type of drops you can put in her eye. Or better yet, send him an email with the 1st picture and ask if there is something you can apply to help.
The following link is information on contacting Dr Frye: http://www.frogforum.net/tree-frogs/...-prepared.html

That humidity was supposed to read 70 percent not 7.
Good luck and hope your frogs eyes heals quickly.
