So I am a new pacman owner and before I know it I end up with two after getting an albino and falling in love with a fantasy frog that they had a week later. My question is my fantasy frog seems a little "squished" to me. Flatter than the albino, not as round sort of thing. I am just wondering if you guys think it looks ok or underfed or anything.
First pic is my albino for reference.

He looks good. That's how they are.
They look great congrats on your new frogs![]()
Awesome!I just wasn't sure since he seems flatter, though he is a bit bigger. My mother fell in love with them and got a Strawberry albino for herself and he is kind of inbetween mine on the roundness scale lol
They both look great. The fantasy frogs are a hybrid of the C. cranwelli (what your albino is) and a C. cornuta which is built a little differently.

This is Alice, our adult female C. cornuta............
This is Olive, an adult female C. cranwelli ............. you can see where the Fantasy body shape is a combination of the two.
That's cool! Is there anyway you can tell me what my mother's strawberry albino is?
I saw somewhere about the different types of pacman frogs but haven't had a chance to look up the differences yet. If you have a link or want to teach me with pictures here I'de really appreciate it![]()
they are so pretty!!!! congrats!
Beautiful frogs!
Albinos tend to be C.cranwelli
Congrats on your new BEAUTIFUL frogs, be careful they are addicting, i am mainly a snake guy, but already have 2 and will be going to a reptile show this weekend looking for more PACS. Yours look very healthy as well.
Like herbaltree said.....albinos of any morph tend to be C. cranwelli.
That being said, there are many breeders shooting for those elusive, never been successfully done breedings to create new morphs...........we all have goals we strive for. My husband & I are taking the slower path because our main rule is "The health of the animal is first.....period." and that will take time to get as we have seen too many times.......Green Apples as an example.....not the healthiest morph out there!!
You should check out the albums of members who are breeders, you will see many amazing frogs
Great looking frogs!
