Default Bright neon patch on my whites tf!

I've had my Leslie over two years now, and suddenly just a few days ago she developed this bright neon patch on her head. I thought nothing of it at first until she stopped eating. Normally she'll eat anything. She's still been pretty active but I don't want it to get any worse and I don't have the funds to take her to the vet. Any help?

If it might be really what it is. Then I think the vet visit is one of the only options. Alternatively, as per many suggestions on this site. Email Dr Frye, and buy some meds from him hopefully.
