I'm looking into designs for my soon-to-be grey/green tree frog tank. Should I design the tank so that there is thick foliage, and lots of hiding space? Or should I make it more open, though still with some hiding spots. I am using a 10 gallon tank, and It's going to be a vertical habitat. Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!![]()
frogs that spend most their time off the ground you will want to make the tank more vertical for them. Vines, plants that grow up, limbs, etc for them to climb on
Ok, thanks!
I think creatures that live in tanks generally enjoy to have as much cover/hiding spots as possible. It will probably reduce some stress that might be caused by having too much wide open space. You should also remember that the more decorations and furniture you add to the tank, the harder it will be to clean!
That's a very good point. I'll keep that in mind when building the tank, but still making it a good environment for the frogs.![]()
