    Talking Meet Suelo! :D

On Saturday I brought home my little albino C.cranwelli

I've named it Suelo and it seems to have settled in really quickly. The first night it hid behind a plant but by the next morning it'd moved to the middle of the tank and sits watching me! I gave it the night to settle in and it readily ate tong fed crickets last night so all is going well so far! Watching it eat is the cutest thing ever!

I've no idea of age/hatching/morph dates but it's SVL is 29.4mm If you click on the first pic, it looks as though there are tiny gills behind the eye on the left? So perhaps it's still rather young.
It's colouring is beeeeautiful and the green on it's flanks seems to vary in intensity. Such a pretty little thing

Awesome looking albino I love how one eye has a green shade and the other has a pink shade Would be cool if s/he keeps it to adulthood.

Gorgeous new frog! What you refer to as gill slits are actually the "pouches" that the arms were tucked into. The skin will heal over and you'll never even know they were there eventually. It just means you froglet is newly emerged. Good luck & keep us up-dated!

Thanks all I shall pass on the compliments to Suelo! Tonight's feeding was much more eventful...many crickets that were determined to survive and avoid being dinner!! (including one that has now fled for freedom beneath my floorboards...oops!)

Grif; the tiny frilly looking bits? That's interesting to know, thanks!

    Eeeeeee I love my frog!

That's Awesome!! Just make sure he doesn't eat any of that moss. Moss can cause an impaction which can lead to death.

It's not moss, it's just cocoa fibre stuff. Thanks though.
He's looking rather fat and round tonight!

Lol! Oopse!! I couldn't see the substrate very well. Once I expanded the pic I could tell clearly. Nice and round is very good.
