In my opinion i would go with a Pothos like lynn said. They are much cheaper, much smoother, easy to take care of, need barely any light, and the frogs seem to love them. Mine have a choice of fake or live plants and they always choose the live ones over the fake. But just like lynn said make sure you rinse off all the dirt from the roots and rinse the leaves. If you happen to find one with long enough vines, they have suction cups at the dollar store. Like 8 of them for $1. then you can get some some vines higher up for your frogs.

yeah i use both. and they only use the live plants. which are cheaper and less harmful. for the price of my fake plants i couldve bought a lot more live plants. my fake plants have sharp wires that stick out the ends and dont really do any good in there. the frogs dont touch em.
but yes. you CAN use them. BUT in my opinion. i would use live.

Fake plants..? Not sure where that came from. I would too just stay away from fake plants, since they do no good and live plants are better in every possible way. Vines, however, are much harder to come by and the difference between fake and live aren't that big.
So, please OP, use the Exo-terra vine if you want to, they're safe and a create addition greatness to your tree frog enclosure. However, you should absolutely use live plants as well, but that's another topic.
/facepalm didnt realize jungle vine was the bendy stick... my apologies. they are great for frogs. i use one. and you can also easily make themill try to find the thread for that.
Thanks for all the advise. In my original post I forgot to mention that I have White's green tree frogs. I actually did go out and buy the jungle vine the other night. It was on sale and I had a coupon so I paid $4. It wasn't as rough as I thought it was but I'm going to keep an eye on my frogs and make sure they don't get hurt. I mean they are "tree" frogs so they should be okay climbing on something that feels like bark right?
Currently I don't have any real plants, but that will change in the near future![]()
