Exclamation So im pretty sure my frogs are dying

hi all .... ive tried everything to help my frogs ( meds are on the way and no reliable frog vet near by). My frogs have not been eating for almost a week and a half !!!
Ive been doing pedialyte baths with honey. They seem bloated and dehydrated. After their baths they get greener but still wont eat. I know that doing these baths too much is bad for the bacteria in their tummies but its the only nutrition they are getting! I have no idea what to do and the nearest pet vet that seems to know what they are talking about is an hour and a half away. Seems like more of a stress for the frogs than anything else . The one thing i have noticed is the frog's "throat" is puffy and they seem impacted(swollen). They also appear to be shedding and are doing the shed-gag CONSTANTLY. Please help i have medicines on the way but my silly little small town has the world's WORST post office and might have lost the package already. joy.

    help .....

    yeah, doesn't look good...
what meds are on the way? what are you treating for, and by who's advice?
Do you dust the feeders with a calcium powder and vit?
What's the enclosure like? Temp, humidity?
Why pedialyte with honey? Are you diluting the pedialyte?
    I'm just really curious...
Looks like it could be MBD (metabolic bone disease)caused by inadequete calcium intake. This can cause lethargy and lack of appetite.
Can you get repti-aid? its a powder made by flukers that is mixed with water and given with a syringe. If these were my frogs, I would try that and do only the pedialyte bath at a one part pedialyte 10 parts treated water OR the honey bath (treated water with a couple drops of honey). change the water for each frog.
You should bring the frogs to a vet, the drive could be made comfortable for them with a critter keeper and damp paper towels (dampened with treated water).
    Did you email dr. frye?

I did email Dr. Frye. He is the one sending a complete first aide kit. I will try to repti-aid tomorrow. I'm also determined to try to dust mealworms .... someone told me they might be more inclined to eat those. I'll dust those with the calcium. Thats what they have been getting but the crickets do get "cleaned off" by the fogger. I'm trying to arrange for a ride to the pet vet but dont have a liscense another problem i prolly should have thought about before i got frogs.

if he is not eating or pooping it more then likely is impaction, which will need surgery, more then likely, im surprised because i use to use moss but i stopped because of that reason, i stick with coconut husk now, i had the same problem for a week but he ended up pooping and eating, i wish the best for you and hope everything works out, if he eats or poops he should be good, but the sooner the better i can't see them going past 3 weeks with no food, does he go in his water, and is he pooping? he may just be over weight
