Hi All!!
I'm always finding little spiders around my house and I was wondering if they're safe to feed to frogs? Not sure if they're venomous (they're just house spiders, I know all spiders are venomous to a certain degree) but it seems a waste to keep throwing them into the garden if there's a chance the froggies can eat them!
I haven't tried it yet, thought I'd ask you first!![]()
Most if not all British spiders are fine to feed to frogs.

When I first had woodfrogs I started to become unable to find crickets and had to raise them on spiders I found around my house. (Though I am from Maine where there are no severely poisonous spiders so... I'm not sure about where you live) Not all spiders taste good enough for them to eat though. Mine actually spat out a whitish colored one who apparently tasted very bad. Reminded me of the time I let one of my cat's try my soymilk. (And by that I mean hilarious)
Soymilk is gross though! I know how your cat felt at that moment
We don't have any venemous spiders here (well, not any that can harm humans) just wasn't sure about Frogs. I did find a lil' house spider over the weekend and I chucked it in with the frog. I wonder if it got eaten.....
