Here's some pictures of the little guy along with his cage setup. I'm a novice at setting up cages so any input you could give would be great! Thanks for viewing

You have a lid to cover the top up right? If not get one ASAP. You cont want anything getting in there with him or him climbing out. They can be very determined.

Place a fake plant in the center that has wide broad leaves for cover. You must have a temp gauge and humidity gauge. Place them dead center of the back wall of the enclosure 1 1/2 to 2 inches above the substrate. Cover 3 sides of the tank with some sort of background to make your frog seem secure. Buy a UTH(Under Tank Heater) and place it on the side of the tank opposite the water dish to offer a warm and cool side.

Day temp needs to be 80° to 82° and night temp should be 76° to 79°, but hover around 78°. Humidity needs to be 80%. These are tropical frogs and need a tropical climate. Keep that in mind. Get rid of the moss. If he eats any he could become impacted(severity constipated) and possibly die.

I do have a screen top, just not on the cage during the photo, it's hanging off the back of the enclosure . Are the gauges I have too high then? I'll get a plant asap tomorrow. I was going to get one today but the stores were closed by the time I got off work.

Yes there too high. You have a terrestrial frog not an Arboreal frog. The gauges need to be down where your frog lives and if one of your gauges is a temp gauge and the other a humidity gauge then they shouldn't be in two different areas of the enclosure. you will not have an average reading of the temp and humidity within the enclosure if they're at delegate ends. They need to be dead center if the back wall 1 1/2" to 2" above the substrate and should be side by side.
