Lore, my new Cornuta, arrived safe and sound on Friday morning! He's a little bit smaller than a quarter.I have him set up in his own little tank right now. I don't think that he's eaten anything yet (I tried tong feeding him wax worms, earthworms, pacman food, and a cricket) last night, and I tried force-feeding him pacman food tonight. No luck so far. He just kind of opens his mouth and out it comes. : / I put some crickets in his cage with him for the night and I hope that he's just food-shy at the moment. How long do you think I should wait before being a bit more forceful about the force-feeding?
He's so adorable! He's basically a large jaw and some legs. So cute! <3

I'm a total newbie so I can't offer any advice on the feeding, but I had to reply so I could say: awwwww he's so cute!
Some friendly advice: Only force feed any animal if you've exhausted all your options. I have two Cornutas and they never eat in front of me. I just put crickets in the tub and they disappear. Remember pacs are nocturnal and they'll be active at night. Pacs can go days without eating. Some will even starve to death if they are stressed. If you just got it, give it some time. I'm sure that the trip and the new environment is a little stressful. Good luck. Cornutas are very nice looking Pacs.
Frogsanity offered excellent advice for you.
Nice Cornuta.
If you have to force feed use a syringe for hand feeding birds. Use the pacman food and get it to a wet paste. Put a pea size ball into its mouth. They do not spit it out.
