Sorry if this has already been posted, but what does the 1.1.0 thing and the species mean on people's posts?

I'm trying to figure out what it means too. Can you explain it?

The first number is the number of males of the species, the second is females, the third is unknowns.

e.g. someone with:

Rana clamitans 2.0.1
Hyla versicolor 1.2.523

Has 2 male R. clamitans, and one of an unknown sex. They also have 1 male H. versicolor, 2 female H. versicolor, and 523 H. versicolor ​of an unknown sex (probably because they left a Barry Manilow record on).
