HELP!!! African Bullfrog Info.

Hi everyone, I am new to this forum,An also new to owning african bullfrogs.
My girlfriend purchased me one the other day whilst out shopping.
She was sold it as a giant african bullfrog(male) but i just dont trust pet stores as they say anything to get them sold i am just not sure as i have never dealt with this species before ONLY ornate horned frogs...ect.oh an they said its under a year old which i believe..

It's the right species but that's a female. She looks overfed with mice too. They aren't supposed to look that bloated, even puffed up.

Thanks justin. Hi john im really interested in what your saying is there anything i can do to get it back in to shape or is it to late. Am i best taking it back has i once bought a surinam horned frog that ad been over fed with mice and it sadly died.

Oh she's fine, just put her on a diet of invertebrates (insects and worms) instead of mice.
