changed the setup by adding logs and more plants etc
I added more logs and high perches
I also added more plants including 5 mini fuschia bushes which should add nice colours when they flower and also a fern
i removed the gravel and kept the large rocks in the 'pool'
also has anyone had any luck with seeing there frogs active at night using the exoterra night glo bulbs??
Nice updates. Love the use of branches :-) Frogs should be happier moving around in there.
Is there a water dish that the frogs can soak in? They love to get right in chin deep and soak, sometimes for hours.
I would like to recommend that you remove the bulb from inside the enclosure since it is one place you don't want a tree frog to leap to by accident.
Just moving it above the tank should be fine.
If your using all live plants and your room averages a temperature of 70 to 80 during the day, then pick up a hood that would allow the use of a 6500K color temp bulb. You want at least a 6500 color temp bulb for the plants.
I use some compact florescent bulbs which would screw into the fixture your already using but you want the lighting to be over more of the plants.
