Need Enclosure Setup Help!

100 gallon aquariums aren't really cheap... thats one of the reasons I recommend letting him go. The aquarium, plus the filter, plus the 12 inches of substrate, the gravel in the water, the land decorations, it would be totaling a little over $1000. I strongly recommend letting him go. The frog terrarium shouldn't be smelly.... that's a sign of bacteria growth. You are keeping way too many frogs in that small an area. You need to really clean it, change the substrate, change the water bowl. For 2 toads, you would need a 15 gallon. The basement would be too cold for them... you would have to get special lights and substrate heating mats.

ok well I talked to my dad while on our way to the pet store to buy crickets and he said if I paid for everything then he might let me bring them in the house but I have no choice but to put them in the basement. So if I do end up getting enough money from our garage sale (if we have one) to buy a 100 gallon tank and all the supplies how hot would the tank need to be set at? I think we still do have a heating mat from when we had a hermit crab would that work for the heating mat? And if I cant get a 100 gallon tank and I get a 12x12x18 terrarium or a 17.1"x10.8"x13.3" or a 18x12x20 what beginner frog would fit in those terrariums because I just went online and petsmart and petco had those sizes cheap for like under $100.
