Look what I found!!

Okay so last night I was hanging out with my friends in my garage, one of my friends little brother came in with his squirt gun and set it on a chair. When he picked it back up this little one was in the chair under it, he had gone to a friends house and filled it in there pool which was over run with tads. I didn't go so I'm not sure what kind of tads they are, so the best I can tell was he hitched a ride on the gun. Either way he/she is with me now and eating ff very well im pretty sure he/she is an anaxyrus boreas boreas- California toad (western toad) he/she is so tiny my camera wouldn't take a good pic

how cute! I have 3 California Toads and they are super fun to keep.

I've had some in the past they are fun. The little one eats like a champ he/she puts down 4-5 fruit flies at a time, and the poops are as big as he/she is.

I'm so jealous. I use to raise them as a kid and had so much fun collecting them and eggs out of the creek in my godmothers yard in Sacramento. Now I live in Montana and don't get to California during the breeding season.
