I am considering upgrading my whites treefrog to a tall terrarium (hes in a standard right now) and I was wondering how they do with water as a the "substrate" in their enclosure. I use epiphytes for plants, so I have no need for soil, and I use a lot of ledge systems for the frog. So now comes the questions:

1.) Can a whites frog be happy with water and a filter in the bottom of a tall tank.

2.) if one is true, than is it possible to have fish in the water. (Docile species of course,) maybe boesmans rainbow fish since they also come from Australia, or even just a betta and a couple females since the water wouldn't be that deep.
